There is only one exception to fees on call due to FCC regulations that allow payphone
owners to charge for using their facilities. In order to recover the charge
imposed by these companies, we must charge a 49¢ fee to customers calling from
a payphone. Payphone operators are usually one of the following: (1) public
payphones, (2) Hotel phones, (3) college dormitory phones (4) Commercial phone
line systems.
